Where did 2023 go? & what's planned for 2024

Having broken my lines in August I left them with the kite centre to fix!, but I've not been back. The smaller board I bought to replace that lost at Murtosa was a bit of a challenge. Even in good wind I had difficulty getting up with the board sinking beneith me. Have been meaning to get back to buy something more suitable and haven't quite made it yet.

So the plan for 2024 is to head for Portsmouth/Santander early May and then back to Murtosa via Madrid. A few days in Murtosa and south to Lisbon, continue south to the Algarve, turn left to Cadiz, Tarifa, Gibralta and the Med. Time permitting, round the Med to Barcelona for end of July. I call that a plan.

............... and in the meantime? Have been busy renovating a property, but mean to head to the sun/wind soon. Ellie gave me a friend's contact in Egypt running week camps in good learning conditions .... or there is still the West Indies. Got to finish the renovation first and get down to Camber for my lines and another board.

Well I wrote this back in the day and it is now 19/03 and I'm still renovating that property! Well to hell with that, I'm finished tomorrow and planning to head down to Camber to collect my lines and buy a better (more suitable) board.

I'm now thinking that I should recruite a fellow travellor for my next trip. To be honest, I've found travelling on my own a bit isolating. It is difficult to go to a restuarant on your own, so I've tended to eat on camp, that's a whole lot of fun completely wasted.
