25th May - Another day kitesurfing

Needing a replacement for my 10.5m RRD kite I visited Kite-Spirit and bought a secondhand 10m Nexus kite. They then said they could repair mine for $150, so I left it with them to forward on to me.

The wind was lighter at Kerhillio and I was really under-powered and found myself stalling the kite as I tried to get on the board. Coming off the water madam said she had been watching and I should stop pulling on the bar as I waterstart, have I heard that before?

Had dinner at the beach bar and chatted with the locals before returning to La Trinite at 11:00 to find the gates locked. Nothing else for it but to sleep in the carpark opposite facing the bay, all the kites turfed out into the carpark. At least I had access to the toilets.

What a view in the morning, sat and chomped down on my breakfast.
